In 1934 Berlin on the eve of The Night of the Long Knives, Max and his lover Rudy are forced to run after a night of debauchery with an SA Trooper who was being hunted by the Gestapo. Desperate and on the run, Max confronts his Uncle Freddie for assistance. Not getting what he needs, Max and Rudy end up in a forest tent camp before being taken prisoners. After more tragedy, Max finds himself in Dachau befriending another gay prisoner, Horst. The two of them struggle to love each other and survive in the Dachau Camp while undergoing the horrific treatments from the concentration camp captains and guards.
