Bashevis’s Demons at Out of the Box Theatre

Bashevis's Demons, based on the works of Nobel Prize-winning author Isaac Bashevis Singer, will be presented at Out of the Box Theatre from December 18 to January 5. This Off-Broadway production features three intertwining tales that explore themes of demons, hope, and despair, all delivered in Singer's original Yiddish with English supertitles. The cast includes Shane Baker and Miryem-Khaye Seigel, and is directed by Moshe Yassur with Beate Hein Bennett. Each story showcases the interplay between human nature and the supernatural within Jewish mysticism.
