Applause, opened on Broadway in 1970 and won two Tony’s including Best Musical and Best Actress for star, Lauren Bacall. It features the hits songs “Backstage Babble,” “But Alive,” “Fasten Your Seat Belts ” and “Welcome to the Theatre.”
