Park Players Productions Inc. will present, “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum”, a slapstick musical farce based on the writings of Plautus with book by Burt Shevelove, Larry Gelbart, and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Originally produced on Broadway by Harold S. Prince. The story goes that Roman slave Pseudolus schemes to win his freedom by helping his young master Hero win the beautiful courtesan Philia, who is betrothed to the egotistical soldier Miles Gloriosus. Comedic mayhem ensues!
Dates are November 1,2,8,9 at 8pm and November 3,10 at 5pm.
