bergenPAC, located at 30 N Van Brunt Street in Englewood NJ received a $5,000 grant to support The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC, which offers classes, school residencies, workshops, live performances, student productions and ensemble groups in the performing arts for students ages 2 1/2 months to 21 years old for all abilities.
"Wells Fargo is thrilled to support Bergen PAC's mission to make Bergen County's diverse neighborhoods vibrant and the best they can be," said Chafic Rouhana, district manager for Wells Fargo's Palisades market. "Our local team members have participated in many of Bergen PAC's community activities. This includes the Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations and the recent 5K Walk to raise funds for students wishing to attend arts programs. These are just few examples of Bergen PAC's commitment to our local children and families. Wells Fargo is proud to be affiliated with this non-profit."
The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC provides students with unique and "hands-on" arts training by industry professionals that allow them to gain real world experience and enhance academic achievement through the arts. The school provides programming through its various initiatives like Korean dance, K-Pop, Indian dance, program for children with special needs, and more.
"This grant will help us reach more children in our community," said Dominic Roncace, bergenPAC CEO. "bergenPAC provides programming in the arts to school districts who have lost their funding and can no longer provide arts programming to their students. Plus, through our scholarship program, no-one is turned away for inability to pay. This grant is very meaningful to us as it will allow us to continue inspiring a new generation of young people."
