WORLD MOSAIC OF STORYTELLING AND MUSIC Comes to Montclair  ImageThe Mythmakers will be performing their "World Mosaic of Storytelling and Music Show" on Sunday Jan. 28th at 2pm at the Van Vleck House & Gardens concert series.

They are nationally acclaimed storyteller, Gerald Fierst and actor/musician, Richard Stillman.

The program will include tales from Ireland, Japan, Italy and the American West. The stories will be accompanied on mandolin, pentatonic lyre, pennywhistle, mandotar and Scottish parlor bagpipes.

Gerald Fierst is an author, teaching artist and performer who has worked internationally at festivals, schools, theaters and museums. His recent books Imagine the Moon and Bye Bye Big! were released in 2017 by Plum Street Press. Richard Stillman is an actor, musician and storyteller. He has performed on Broadway, the Kennedy Center and in regional theaters from New Jersey to Alaska.
