The Morris Museum honors those who served with a special Veterans Day family celebration on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 11:00AM - 4:00PM.

Presentation and Slide Show - Honoring those who Served
Dr. James Kane, will share a presentation honoring those who served through music and slides discussing the history and honor of the branches of the military, the Korean, Vietnam and Second World Wars. He will also provide an opportunity for veterans present at the program to share their service experiences. Dr. Kane is an adjunct professor of education at William Paterson University, a former teacher, headmaster, principal, and Superintendent of Schools. He holds a bachelor's degree - a 6th year graduate degree- from Columbia University and a doctor of education degree following evening doctoral studies at New York University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.This presentation will begin at 1:00PM.
Museum educator and historian Emma Fredericks will be leading tours of three of our exhibitions related to the military at 11:00AM, 2:00PM and 3:00PM.

These tours will provide a special opportunity to get an insider's historical view of these exhibitions.
