Village People
Ever since bursting onto the scene with their flamboyant costumes and catchy tunes, Village People have been seen as emblems of disco, releasing worldwide hits 'In The Navy', 'Macho Man' and 'Y.M.C.A', that are still continually played at parties and nightclubs today. Formed in 1977, Village People have sold over 100 million records worldwide and have received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Join the boys for this special night where they show that DISCO isn't dead, not even close!
The Trammps featuring Earl Young
The Trammps were one of the most soulful vocal disco group of the 70's. Every show is a party and they will surely burn it down with fun. In 1970 Earl Young enlisted the help of Norman Harris, Ron Baker, and Harry Chipetz. They recorded the single 'Zing went the Strings of my Heart.' Under the direction of BHY The Trammps recorded seven albums, receiving a gold album for Disco Inferno, a platinum record for the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack and a Grammy as well.
Anita Ward
Singer Anita Ward is most well-known for her 1979 disco single 'Ring My Bell,' a number one pop hit in the U.S. and the U.K. It was at college where Ward met her manager, who got her a deal with Juana Records. With the worldwide smash of 'Ring my bell,' she became famous all over the world. This is still one of the most well-known disco hits of all times, and one of the most popular.
