The Theater Projects presents staged readings of four short plays by Members of Our Playwrights Workshop,
followed by discussion with the authors. The readings will be held on 2 PM, Saturday, April 16, at Cranford Community Center, 224 Walnut Ave. Admission is Free.
The plays include:
'Going Postal'

After being harassed by his supervisor for several years, postal worker Bob can no longer tolerate the abuse.
Ed Lataro has had several plays produced in New York, including Not in Kansas Anymore and Otto's Fortune. He holds a master's degree in counseling.
'The Butler's Pantry'

On the evening of their wedding anniversary, a couple discover that an old photograph ties them to the past in ways they haven't imagined.
'Après la Fête'

In the wee, small hours of the morning, a young couple cleans up after a cocktail party at their home, but it's more than the glasses that need to be sorted out.
Joseph Vitale, a semi-finalist for the 2012 Eugene O'Neill/National Playwrights Conference, is the author of several plays, including Murrow, which will be produced Off-Broadway at the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble in May.
'The Turtle and the Woman'

Most of Mary Jane Walsh's plays, including Ping, My Sister's Back Is Killing Me and Finishing It Off!feature solo performances, so here's a change. An Elizabeth native, she lives in Basking Ridge and is a member of The Dramatists Guild of America.
