The Theater Company (TTC) is now accepting appointments for their open call auditions for their Winter production of Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW on January 4 & 5, 2011 from 6:30-9:30pm at TTC's Studio - C413 at Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St., Hoboken, NJ. TTC seeks a diverse non-equity cast, ages 16 and up, for this frighteningly fantastic, cult following romp directed by Billy Mitchell with musical direction by Tom Berger and choreography by Robert Gonzales Jr.
That sweet transvestite, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and his motley crew did the time warp with TTC a few years ago and since then audiences have been begging us to bring it back -- so we are! Complete with sass and an array of audience participation, this deliberately kitschy rock 'n' roll sci-fi gothic is more fun than ever.
Performances will be February 10-12, 17-19 & 24-26, 2011, Thurs.-Sat. at 8pm, Sat. also at 11pm at the TheaterSpace in the Monroe Center for the Arts in Hoboken, NJ (not TTC's Studio in the same building).
Please prepare 32 bars of a rock song or a song from a rock musical, preferably not from The Rocky Horror Show. Bring your own sheet music; piano accompanist will be provided. Bring your headshot and resume if applicable. Be prepared for movement (will be taught routine.) Appointments scheduled starting Monday, December 27th, however walk-ins are accepted. Please note: The role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter has already been cast
TTC is an equal-opportunity organization, dedicated to non-traditional casting and casting decisions are made regardless of race, creed, gender, age, disability, national origin or sexual orientation.
