The Road Company to Present GHOST THE MUSICAL at the Grand, 1/22-2/7

The Grand Theater and the Road Company are excited to present you with one of the biggest, most haunting musicals to date‹and the area premiere‹based on the much beloved 1991 classic romance, Ghost. The Road Company is proud to present Ghost: The Musical, running January 22 ­- February 7, 2015 (Thursdays at 7pm; Friday and Saturdays at 8pm; Sundays at 2pm) and tickets range from $22-$25 with discounts for seniors, students and groups. Much like its cinematic counterpart, Ghost: The Musical is built on a foundation of romance, mystery, and mayhem. Sam and Molly are the perfect New York couple: he¹s in finance, she¹s an artist, and they¹re both
head-over-heels for each other. And then, while out on the town, the couple is mugged and, in the struggle, Sam is killed. There¹s no spoiler alert, here, people. Even if you haven¹t seen the movie, it¹s not called Ghost because there isn¹t a ghost in it. Sam finds himself trapped between two worlds, living and unliving, and learning the new rules of existence. Guided by a spiritual medium, Sam realizes that all is not what it seemed, and he¹s forced to unravel the mystery behind the most confusing event of his life: his own death. The musical and the movie version have much in common, including the story and the fascinating and mind-boggling special effects. Part musical, part drama, part comedy, and part magic show, Ghost the musical is sure to fascinate and entertain whatever your theatrical palate craves.

Director and Producer Lauri Hudson returns to helm this musical extravaganza. Exorcise your rites to have fun, and come see what is sure to be the Area Premiere of the year.
