The Ocean County Vocational Technical School's Performing Arts Academy to Present SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL

The Ocean County Vocational Technical School's Performing Arts Academy (PAA) presents the hilariously funny "Sister Act" (movie by the same name), at the historic Strand Theater in Lakewood, February 23, 24, and 25.

This hilarious comedy is a magnificent blend of laughter and music - the perfect way to warm your soul on a cold winter day!

A nightclub singer, Deloris, witnesses a mob murder and the police hide her in a convent to protect her from the bad guys. Deloris has a hard time adjusting to the strict rules of the convent but eventually becomes involved with the church choir, which brings too much attention to herself. This alerts the mob to her whereabouts, and the chase is on!

There is a special Senior Citizen Matinee Performance at 4PM Thursday February 23rd. Tickets are only $14 and includes a delicious boxed lunch served prior to the show, prepared by OCVTS Culinary Arts students! Doors open at 2PM.
