The Company Theatre Group, Inc. is pleased to present the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Winning play RABBIT HOLE, written by David Lindsay Abaire. The Company is the resident professional theatre company in Hackensack, and this show features five highly talented professional NJ actors.

Rabbit Hole is a spectacular drama about loss and survival by one of today's great American Playwrights. This wonderful and thought-provoking play explores the complex human condition of grief as a family struggles to try to cope with the loss of their young son and asks the question what if you could travel like Alice through a rabbit hole to another time, a new place or circumstance.

Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. RABBIT HOLE charts their bittersweet search for comfort in the darkest of places and for a path that will lead them back into the light of day.

"David Lindsay-Abaire has crafted a drama that's not just a departure but a revelation-an intensely emotional examination of grief, laced with wit, insightfulness, compassion and searing honesty." -Variety.

"Grade: A! A transcendent and deeply affecting new play, which shifts perfectly from hilarity to grief." -Entertainment Weekly.

"RABBIT HOLE is a beautifully crafted work of great sensitivity." -Star-Ledger.

Please note: Adult language. No one under 16 permitted without an adult.

Founded in 2007, The Company Theatre Group is a non-profit, professional company of actors, writers, and directors in residence at The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center, Hackensack, NJ.

Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Group Theatre, The Company is dedicated to developing and nurturing artists in an imaginative and safe setting, while at the same time pushing the boundaries of contemporary theatre with its non-choreographed style of production. Like The Group Theatre, The Company creates heightened authentic human behavior on stage. "Life in Fiction" we like to call it. Truly living in the moment. So, no two performances are ever the same.

The Company creates an entertaining environment and a thought-provoking experience where each audience member can feel like a 'fly on the wall', watching the lives and events of real people in real situations unfold and sometimes unravel right before their eyes.
