The Adelphi Orchestra launches its 64th Season of "Music for All" in October and celebrates New Jersey's "Discover Jersey Arts Month" with its traditional Young Artist Concert on Sunday October 22nd at 4PM, River Dell Regional Middle School. The concert is free and open to the public.

Now in its 14th year, the Adelphi Young Artist Program has contributed to the development of over 1,000 young musicians. First place winners are afforded the opportunity to perform in concert with the Adelphi Orchestra. For the past half-decade competition finals have been held in New York City and Young Artist Concerts have taken place in New York and New Jersey. This past June Adelphi Orchestra Guest Conductor Joshua Gersen (New York Philharmonic Assistant Conductor and Music Director of the New York Youth Symphony) led the orchestra and 2016 Young Artist Winner violinist Nathan Meltzer in "Une Fete en France" a benefit concert for the Adelphi Orchestra at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center
