What do Ed Harris, Hope Davis, Tate Donovan, Alexie Gilmore, Jonathan Carney, Lea Michele, James Youmans, Alex Gemignani, and dozens more have in common?

Tenafly High School! Some of these stars, along with other famed THS graduates who flourished in the High School's Performing Arts Programs -- including Erica Piccininni Jamison Stern, Alexander Tall, Nathan Morgan, Michael Sorvino, Wally Marzano Lesnevich, Karalyn Shima, Cole Razzano, Jeremy Abramson, Aliana de la Guardia, Diane Davis, Kimberly Hirst, Rachel DiSalvo, Dahlia Mayerson, Meredith LaBouff, Tom Lupfer, Rosine (Rosie) Moss, Robert (Bobby) Kalman, Sofie Zamchick, Kevin Shima, Adam Rothenberg, and Eran Zacks -- return to the same stage where it all began for The Stars Come Home.

This evening, June 9th at 7pm, this unforgettable, one-night-only benefit will support the arts at Tenafly High School - refurbish Collins & Tall Auditorium and launch a Performing Arts Endowment.

These graduates, who have gone on to successful careers on Broadway, in Hollywood, and opera and the concert stage, will come together in a fast-paced, funny and poignant evening filled with short scenes from the theater, monologues, opera arias and duets, reminiscences, and video clips of their early appearances onstage at THS.

Oscar-nominated actor Ed Harris and Tenafly Mayor Peter Rustin are Honorary Co-chairs of The Stars Come Home which THS alum Claude Knobler, writer, actor and radio host, will host. Proceeds of the evening will support the much-needed renovation of Tenafly High School's Collins & Tall Auditorium and the launch of an endowment for the arts.

Tenafly's steadfast commitment to the arts and creativity thrived through the dedication, energy, and long careers of music teacher Susan Porter Tall and acting teacher James Collins, and it was their idea to inaugurate an endowment to help sustain Tenafly's award-winning High School arts programs. As Principal Dr. Dora P. Kontogiannis says, "Keep your eyes on our stars - past, present and future - as they showcase their talent in an unforgettable evening in support of the Arts at THS on June 9."

The Performing Arts Department, with an impressive array of performing ensembles and academic courses in the arts, is among Tenafly's greatest resources; students carry throughout their lives the imagination and innovation stimulated by the arts program.
