This award winning Broadway classic is an all-American institution. The Music Man, by Meredith Wilson and Franklin Lacey, is the lively, funny and romantic tale of the fast-talking Harold Hill (Ian Moore) who cons the citizens of River City into buying instruments and uniforms for their children to form a marching band. But his plans are changed once he meets the town librarian, the lovely Marian Paroo (Rebecca Madeira).
In addition to romance the show is filled with quirky characters, including Mayor Shinn and his wife, Eulalie (Michael Caggiano and Laurett Gannon), salesman Charlie Cowell (Steve Bartlow) and the fun-loving Marcellus Washburn (Claude Schmincke). The cast also iincludes youngsters Maura Kerr as Amaryllis and Cooper Lantz as Winthrop. The production team is lead by producer Patricia Barry and director Kerry White. The rousing score of marches, barbershop quartets and beautiful ballads are musically directed by Brian Krajcik with choreography by Christine Baglivio. Seventy-Six Trombones, Till There Was You, Ya Got Trouble, and The Wells Fargo Wagon are just a few of the songs you will be humming after treating yourself to The Music Man. It's family fun at its finest!
