In a communal residence in New England, four mentally handicapped men live under the supervision of an earnest, but increasingly "burned out" young social worker named Jack. The four men - Norman, Lucien, Arnold, and Barry, work, date, think and live in a world built for the rest of us. Through their story, they show us how these normal, everyday activities can become so much more cumbersome-or more fun-when performed by people with such wholly different perspective. An Off-Broadway success, this funny, touching play is marked by the compassion and understanding with which it peers into the world of its protagonists. Directed by Cyndi Debor.
