TALK RADIO And GRILLER By Eric Bogosian to Be Presented In Rep At BBPAC ImageThe Black Box Performing Arts Center continues to emerge as the Tri-State area's premiere destination for both cutting-edge professional theater and collaborative arts education - in the heart of Teaneck, just a quick ride over the George Washington Bridge.

Black Box Studios' second full season of professional theater continues with new productions of two modern classics by Eric Bogosian, TALK RADIO and the rarely-performed GRILLER, presented on alternating evenings "in rep" from April 19 to May 13. Featuring: Brennen Dopwell, Allison Falkenstern, Jason Felix, Mike Gardiner, Sam Hapner Goldman, Anna Gunderson, Nachi Lederer, Ellen Revesz, Lisa Tiger, and Laurence Wallace. Directed by Matt Okin. GRILLER - presented in special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., NY - is a farce that turns the American Dream on its head.

In GRILLER, set in a New Jersey backyard, a barbecue gathering turns sinister and deadly.

TALK RADIO - presented in special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. NY. - was a finalist for the 1988 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Barry Champlain, Cleveland's controversial radio host, is on the air doing what he does best: insulting the pathetic souls who call in the middle of the night to sound off.

Tomorrow, Barry's show is going into national syndication and his producer is afraid that Barry will say something that will offend the sponsors. This, of course, makes Barry even more outrageous.

Performance schedule:

Tickets are $25 ($20 for students/seniors) and are now available at www.blackboxpac.com. Group rates for 10 or more are available by calling (201) 357-2221. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue; please call (201) 357-2221 for box office hours.
