The Morris Museum will host a special program, Survivors Speak on Tuesday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
The goal of the program is to help the community become witnesses to this time in history as speakers recount their individual experiences during World War II and the Holocaust. After meeting these survivors through their presentations the audience is invited to participate in a Question & Answer period. By attending this program, the audience also becomes active participants in the process of understanding and further sharing of the messages from each Survivor. The event can become a life-changing experience for participants.
This program was originally developed by the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest NJ specifically for the Morris Museum's outreach to schools and has been hosted for many years for students across the state of New Jersey. This year, this special program is being opened to the community at-large as a unique educational opportunity.
This event is $8 for Museum Members and $8 for Non-Members (add Museum admission for $3 on-site if desired). Tickets can be purchased at http://morrismuseum.org/lectures/
