Hammonton's Eagle Theatre, known for its world-class caliber productions presented in an intimate venue, opened Little Women: The Musical on January 26th, 2018 to packed houses, standing ovations, and several reputable critical and creative rave reviews. Brimming with adventure and imagination, heartache and hope, Eagle Theatre's epic production of the musical phenomenon has delighted countless audiences with joyful melodies, uplifting spirit, and unforgettable technical special effects. Now, in its final weekend, the curtain will close on Little Women: The Musical in the same fashion as it began.

Celebrating its 7th Season, Eagle Theatre, which is South Jersey's only year-round professional Equity theatre, honors its mission of "redefining regional theatre" by using up-to-the minute technology and theatrical techniques to immerse their audience. The non-profit professional theatre launched its subsidiary, Innovations Factory, in 2015 to nurture new technology and infuse it into live theatre.

Eagle Theatre's Innovations Factory is a core of themeing artists dedicated to experimental storytelling through medium advancing technology, including; motorized moving walls, scent-sensory experiences, rotating stages, mechanical winches, advanced audio engineering and 3D/4D animation.

Little Women: The Musical employees the use of seventeen custom designed, individually controlled, moving mechanical winches. Thus, allowing Alcott's words and descriptive scenic backdrop to jump from the page to stage. Eagle Theatre's Innovations Factory's groundbreaking work on Little Women: The Musical has been hailed by The Philadelphia Inquirer as, "A triumph of production values" and "a master in story-telling through innovative technology," as stated in Philly Review.

"Eagle Theatre is known for their expansive imagination. We are honored to play a role in bringing the unexpected to life by offering our technical know-how and expertise," Ryan Mayer, Bayview Bearing & Supply Sales Manager said.

Eagle Theatre's Innovations Factory's next three assignments are of an eclectic variety, much akin to the Eagle Theatre's Mainstage Season itself. The hilarious new comedy, Moonlight & Magnolias, will refurb the theatre into 1930's Hollywoodland, adorned with search lights, a red carpet runway, lobby screen tests, a "Brown Derby" Wine Lounge overlay, and many other interactive experiences. Next, The Last 5 Years, will feature a full-scale multi- rotational turn table and high-tech videography. The Eagle Theatre original World Premiere, NOIR: The 3D/4D Semi-Cinematic Satirical Thriller, will play host to 3D cinematography, and several scent-sensory experience.

Little Women: The Musical runs through February 25th.
