The New York Times reports that funny men Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell will reunite for the 4th Annual Montclair Film Festival. The announcement was made today by festival organizers. For more on the event, click here
The comedians have known each other since their early days of improv at Chicago's Second City back in the early '90's. More recently, they both served as correspondents on Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.' They have since gone on to successful careers, with Carell now an A-list movie star, and Colbert named the future host of CBS's Late Show.
The duo will appear at this year's festival in a special event titled "A Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell," which will take place on November 21st at 8 pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.Colbert, a Montclair resident, will soon sign off as host of Comedy Central's 'The Colbert Report.' Carell, the former star of NBC's 'The Office,' will soon be seen in Bennett Miller's "Foxcatcher," hitting theaters in November. He will also appear opposite Jennifer Garner in 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' (see trailer below!)
