The revolutionary "Tschaikowski", St. Petersburg State Orchestra with pianist Alexander Pirozhenko will be performing LIVE at the Bergen Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 18th at 8PM. Tickets are $65, $50, $40, $30, $20.

Cunningly conducted by music director and chief conductor Roman Leontiev, the "Tschaikowski", St. Petersburg State Orchestra has an eclectic range of repertoire. Roman Leontiev is widely regarded as one of the preeminent Russian conductors of his generation and received his first professional acclaim in 1985 upon being awarded the USSR State of Medical Excellence in Conducting for his leadership of the Moscow International Festival Orchestra.

Founded in the post years World War II, the Orchestra has achieved a wide range of acknowledgement and popularity throughout Russia and continues to develop its repertoire strengths and build an international audience. With programs ranging from the Baroque to music of the 20th century to newly commissioned compositions, there is no surprise that the Orchestra tours regularly throughout the world.
