South Camden Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Camden, New Jersey opens its 11th season and second decade of theatre in the city with a three week production and regional premier of CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO. Opening October 16, 2015 at 8p.m. the play is written by Robert Berger, Patrick Daniels and Irving Gregory and directed by Joseph M. Paprzycki. CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO (CVR) is a Drama Desk award-winning theatrical documentary based on verbatim transcripts from six real aviation accidents and emergencies as recorded in each flight's "Black Box" Cockpit Voice Recorders.
The cast includes
Eric Carter,
Kevin Doyle, Jason Cutts, Stacy Skinner, Tyler S. Elliott, Cindy Starcher and Paul Sollimo.
Producing Artistic Director Joseph M. Paprzycki states, "When I saw "CVR" in New York in 2003 it frightened me very deeply. Since then that unique production has never left me and I always knew I wanted to bring its power and intensity to SCTC. What I can say is that you have never seen live theatre like this as it is both, terrifying, true to life and hopefully, like me, it will stay with you for a long time."
All performances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. at the 96-seat Waterfront South Theatre located at 400 Jasper Street in Camden, New Jersey. Tickets are available for purchase for $20 online at
