Skyline Theatre Company offers a special Friday night $10 student discount for tick, tick...BOOM!, the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson. The show will has three more performances November 14-16 at the George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in the Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn. The $10 ticket price on Friday is half off the usual student price of $20 and is offered to high school and college students with ID.
tick, tick... BOOM! is the story of Jonathan Larson before he wrote RENT. He is an aspiring composer who questions his life choices on the eve of his thirtieth birthday. First performed as a solo rock monologue by Larson in 1990, it was later revamped by playwright David Auburn as a three-actor piece and premiered off-Broadway in 2001.
New York's Nick Orfanella, who is making his Skyline debut, stars as Jon, a role based on the composer of the show. Co-starring as Susan is New York actress Lauren Palmeri, who is originally from Bergen County. Lauren returns to Skyline having starred as Fanny Brice in last season's Funny Girl.Danny Arnold, also originally from NJ and making his Skyline debut, plays Jon's best friend Michael. The superb cast is directed by New York director Trey Compton and the excellent band is conducted by Kevin M. Lynch.

Tick, tick...BOOM! continues its run Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15, at 7:30pm and Sunday, November 16, at 2:00pm at the George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in the Fair Lawn Community Center (10-10 20th Street) in Fair Lawn.
