This new Shakespeare in the Park debuts on August 3 with a performance of Macbeth. Three witches entice Macbeth with prophecies of success. Consumed with a lust for power, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth develop bloody ambition with deadly consequences.
Macbeth will be performed in repertory with Twelfth Night: Following a storm that separates her and her twin brother, Viola disguises herself as a boy called Cesario. While working for the Duke of Illyria, Orsino, Viola begins to fall in love him. Orsino, however, is in love with Olivia, who begins to fall for Cesario (Viola). Meanwhile, the members of Olivia's household trick her butler Malvolio into thinking Olivia is in love with him. Comedic confusion ensues in this raunchy 17th century spring break rager!
