On Sunday April 18th, Broadway will be right in Bergen County when Skyline Theatre Company (STC) hosts its 9th annual "Broadway for the Arts" benefit fundraiser at Biagio's Ristorante in Paramus (www.biagios.com). Broadway performers from such shows as Wicked, Mary Poppins, and Phantom of the Opera are scheduled to perform.

Hosted by Broadway veteran Jim Stanek, this is an evening of song, laughter, fine dining, and a ringside seat for the best talent Broadway has to offer. Exciting live and silent auctions round out this special event, with items including Broadway show tickets and autographed posters, sports memorabilia, and beauty packages. Be close enough to touch these Broadway performers as they bring down the house at this evening that celebrates the arts in New Jersey. To purchase tickets, call STC's box office at 800-474-1299. If you reserve by April 9th, your tax deductible ticket price is $60 each; tickets are $75 at the door. All proceeds go directly to support STC's not-for-profit productions and educational programs.

STC will also be presenting its Horizon Award to John McEwen, the Executive Director of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance at this event. The Horizon Award is given to an outstanding supporter of Skyline in the past year. Prior to his work at the Alliance, John served as Vice President for Development of the New Jersey Network Foundation and the Director of Development for Paper Mill Playhouse. John is also the founder and Chairman of the Cultural Access Network of New Jersey, Vice-President of ArtPRIDE, Trustee of Partnership in Philanthropy and the New Jersey Fund for the Blind. He also serves as an adjunct professor for Drew University and Seton Hall University's Arts Management Program.
