Centenary Stage Company (CSC) brings to life, the magical, family holiday musical, Mary Poppins through December 11 in the Sitnik Theater. The cast of Mary Poppins and the live orchestral accompaniment has audience members singing and dancing in their seats to well known classics such as "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."
McKenzie Custin is "practically perfect" as she soars through the role of Mary Poppins! As a CSC veteran, her previous credits include Wizard of Oz, Christmas Carol, and Oliver. Justin Boccitto charms the audience with his portrayal of Bert. Boccitto, who attended Centenary Young Performers Workshop as a child, now includes credits such as MTV MADE, The Metropolitan Opera, Willow Cabin Theatre Company, Papermill Playhouse, and his own show Pre-Show in NYC.
The costumes (Ashleigh Poteat), set design (Ashleigh Poteat), and choreography (Michael Blevins) all enhance the magic of the timeless musical adventure.
With only a few shows left, you don't want to miss this perfect, family friendly musical! Performances include Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm; Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2pm. All performances are held in the Sitnik Theater of the Lackland Center. All ticket sales are final.
