SCHOOL OF ROCK Plays Waynestock 2011, 6/25

The School of Rock (Waldwick and Montclair) will perform pop and rock songs live at Waynestock 2011 in Oakland NJ on Saturday, June 25th 2011. The Waldwick and Montclair School of Rock locations are sponsoring the event, which raises money for the Education Through Music, a charity that provides funds to schools in danger of losing their music programs.

The School of Rock with students from Waldwick and Montclair will team up performing classic rock hits while raising money Education Through Music. Like Woodstock which was not held in Woodstock, Waynestock is not being held in Wayne. The event will take place on June 25th at the Oakland Elks Lodge: starting at 11a.m. - 9:30p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair/blanket and enjoy a day of music outside on the scenic grounds. Tickets are $10 and can be bought from School of Rock or at the door. Food will be sold at the event.
