The Ritz Theatre Company presents Michael Frayn's hilarious comedy, "Noises Off" at the historic Ritz Theatre, 915 White Horse Pike, Arts District, Haddon Township, NJ, April 22- May 22.
The N.Y. Post says Noises Off is "the funniest farce ever written" It's the comedy where everyone gets caught in the act. What's happening on stage is nothing compared to what's happening backstage. The hilarious off-stage chaos affects the on-stage performance with a great deal of slapstick as we follow the antics of the actors from rehearsals through opening night.
The ensemble cast is led by Ellen Sheinkin who plays the forgetful Dotty and Paul McElwee, the speech affecTed Gary. Bruce A. Curless is the tippling Slesden. Jenn Colleluori is Brooke the inexperienced actress. John Jackowski is Lloyd, the director. SuzanNe Yocus is the dependable Belinda. Casey Williams-Ficarra takes the role of Poppy the jealous assistant stage manager. Brian Rivell plays Freddy who fears violence. C.J. Kish is Tim, the stage manager.
