Rick Springfield to Perform at BergenPAC, 9/8

The landmark of 1980s pop-rock, Rick Springfield will be performing live at the Bergen Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 8 at 8:00 p.m. Springfield will performing hits including "Jessie's Girl," "I've Done Everything for You," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "Affair of the Heart," and "Love Somebody."

The Australia born singer/actor is man of many talents. Not only is he an accomplished musician and actor. He can now add published author to his resume. His personal memoir Late, Late at Night will be released in paperback on July 5. It is a New York Times bestseller.

Springfield's debut single, "Speak To The Sky", was major pop hit and reach No. 14 on the Billboard charts. His debut album Beginnings was the first of seven Top 40 hits. His 1981 album, Working Class Dog, remarkably successful with the Top 10 hits "Jessie's Girl" and "I've Done Everything For". The single "Jessie's Girl" peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Charts and ultimately achieved great success worldwide.

He continued to do well with his albums Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet (1982) and Living in Oz (1983). He continued to release albums throughout the 1980, 90s, and into the new albums and released his last Billboard 200 album in 2008. Venus in Overdrive (2008) peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Charts.

Springfield has not stopped touring. With the release of his new book, there is nothing stopping Springfield's momentum. As a singer, actor, and author there appears to be nothing he cannot do.
