Resorts Atlantic City and Flower Power Concerts, INC. presents 'Hippiefest' on Saturday, August 7, at the Superstar Theater. 'Hippiefest' features Jack Bruce of Cream, War, Rare Earth, Mitch Ryder and Badfinger featuring Joey Molland.
Jack Bruce, lead vocalist, bassist and main songwriter of the 1960s super group Cream headlines the bill. He will perform Cream's chart topping hits such as "Sunshine of Your Love," "White Room" and more. California cross-over band War brings its laid-back, funk vibe to Resorts. Concerts goers will enjoy hits such as "Low Rider," "Spill the Wine," "The Cisco Kid," and "Why Can't We Be Friends." Rare Earth will play their hits such as "I Just Want to Celebrate" and "Hey, Big Brother."
Detroit rock ‘n' roll hero Mitch Ryder brings his high energy performance to Resorts. The front man of Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels will perform "Devil with a Blue Dress On / Good Golly Miss Molly," "Sock it to Me-Baby!" "Jenny Take a Ride!" and other hits. Hailing from Swansea, Wales, Badfinger featuring Joey Molland brings "Come and Get It," "Day After Day," "Baby Blue" and other hits to the Superstar Theater. Badfinger will rock Resorts "No Matter What!"
