Learn the skills you need to tell your story at a FREE Author Expo and self-publishing workshop led by writing and publication coach Rekesha Pittman. As the founder of Get Write Publishing, she provides step-by-step instructions for taking your book from Chapter One to launch and distribution.

The Author Expo also features an appearance by DJ Cool V and live performances by jazz vocalist Alexis Morrast, ROAR Dance Ministry, and spoken word artist Tykara Mobley. NJPAC Teaching Artist Wincey Terry gives dramatic readings of children's books about stage legends Alvin Ailey, Ella Fitzgerald, Misty Copeland and Tito Puente. Other events include a panel discussion by young authors ages 6 to 20; conversations with authors from the fields of young readership, arts, politics, and faith; and special prize giveaways.
