Princeton Summer Theater will present its fourth and final production of the 2012 season, Richard Greenberg’s drama THE AMERICAN PLAN.  With what's being described as "masterful direction by PST Artistic Director Daniel Rattner, and a pitch-perfect cast that features all five members of the 2012 Company, this nostalgic and thought-provoking play ends PST’s season on a beautiful note."

Love is in the air in Richard Greenberg’s wistful modern masterpiece, The American Plan. For Lili Adler and her mother, Eva, every summer in the Catskills is the same... until the summer of 1960, when Lili meets the charming Nick Lockeridge.  He seems perfect to Lili, but Eva harbors private suspicions. When secrets begin to come to light, Lili’s trust in those she loves most is tested. Greenberg looks back to a time when expectation, family, desire, love, need, loneliness and fear all prove inescapable ties that drag us back to shore, even when we most wish to drift out to sea.

Starring Princeton Summer Theater Company members Maeve Brady (Eva), Andrew Massey (Nick), Miyuki Miyagi (Olivia), Sarah Paton (Lili), and Evan Thompson (Gil).  Directed by PST Artistic Director Daniel Rattner.
