Phoenix Productions' November revival of Seussical comes to the historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ for a two-weekend run beginning November 10th.
Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters in Seussical, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination - Jojo. Now one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza about an elephant trying to save a small world. roadway Seussical's colorful characters transport us from the planet of Who, and the smallest of smalls, to the Jungle of Nool and the largest of all!
Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird.Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant in a show perfect for the whole family.
Featured in the cast are Andrew Behrens (Mr. Mayor), Rachel Behrens (Mayzie), Jenna Bitow (Sour Kangaroo), Matthew Black, Matthew Blankley, Bob Brown (General Schmitz), Taylor Carpinello, Carly Cavanaugh, Christian Cieri, Sarah Coleman (Bird Girl), Jake Fredericks, Chad Fruscione, Carmen Gemellaro, Kayla Goins, Jennifer Harmon, Crystal Huau (Mrs. Mayor), Taylor Kaplan, Alec Kelsey (Wickersham Brother), Molly Kenney, Zoe Kenney, Ryan Kudless, Alison Levier (Gertrude), Kitana Maman, Isabella Moitoso, Kylie Mulvihill, Regene Odon (Wickersham Brother), Evan Pelaia (Wickersham Brother), Sophie Pelton, Alexandra Pennington (Bird Girl), Dan Peterson (Cat in the Hat), Kara Robertelli, Joe Ronga (Horton), Neddy Rossi (Jojo), Lisa Sandoli (Bird Girl), Carl Smith, Alyssa Stewart, Grace Sweeney, Samantha Ventola, Benjamin Weiss, and Joe Wojtkowski.
