Budapest Festival Orchestra

Hungary's acclaimed orchestra performs the Fifth Symphony in an all-Beethoven program featuring pianist Richard Goode. No other musical statement can match its raw power and bracing energy. The acclaimed Budapest Festival Orchestra performs Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, concluding this all-Beethoven program featuring legendary pianist Richard Goode. Twenty-year-old George Li is one of five recipients of a 2016 Avery Fisher Career Grant. He recently returned from Russia, where he performed as part of the Stars on Baikal concert showcasing the winners of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition. Li was among the soloists who participated in Folk, Form, and Fire, an evening of Prokofiev's piano concertos at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music.
The NJPAC program also includes Ravel's poetic Shéhérazade, ouverture de féerie and Leonard Slatkin's Kinah, a musical elegy dedicated to his musician parents.

Wally Jones and Casa Mañana Theatre presents A Year with Frog & Toad

Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved books, A Year with Frog and Toad bubbles with melody and wit: an inventive, exuberant and enchanting experience for the whole family! Featuring a jazzy, upbeat score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical musical follows two great friends - the cheerful, popular Frog and the curmudgeonly Toad - through four, fun-filled seasons. A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that weathers all seasons.
