One Night of Queen enacted by Gary Mullen and The Works will be performing live at bergenPAC on Friday, April 13th at 8P.M.

Hailed by the BBC TV, “It was difficult at times to remember that the music came not from Queen, but from The Works. Accurately and faithfully performed with the feel of the original preserved,” Gary Mullen and The Works never fail to put on a memorable show for audiences of any age. The band also plays songs never performed live by Freddie, such as "Too Much Love Will Kill You", "Barcelona", "The Show Must Go On" and "I Want It All".

After winning Stars In Their Eyes 2000 by receiving a record breaking number of votes for the show, Mullen began touring with his band The Works, putting on a sell-out tribute act known as One Night Of Queen. The show takes references from many 1980s Queen tours by using a modified custom-built lighting rig made to emulate the lighting rigs used during several Queen tours between 1980 and 1986. Mullen and The Works have performed their tribute show on countless tours across Europe, New Zealand and the United States. Amongst their shows, major cities include Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Liege, and Montreux.

Mullen’s versatile vocal range reaches the hearts of his audience and penetrates the soul. Recently, Gary has recorded a Freddie voiceover for a Japanese commercial for Nissin Cup Noodles. Along with his dear friend, Barry Kelly, Gary released his first individual works album, "Blood, Sweat, and Beers" in early 2011.

One Night of Queen undoubtedly gives audiences a chance to relive and celebrate the great past of Freddie Mercury and Queen by putting on a show no one will want to miss, LIVE at the bergenPAC.
