Ocean Professional Theatre Stages BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY thru 8/31

Ocean Professional Theatre Company welcomes the rock and roll star that started it all: Buddy in The Buddy Holly Story, starring Todd Meredith as Buddy Holly, and directed by Steve Steiner of the original Broadway Company. The production will run at the Bengal Auditorium, 180 Bengal Blvd. Barnegat NJ.

Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story tells the true story of a Rock n' Roll pioneer and his meteoric rise to fame! Follow Buddy from his humble beginnings and the moment in 1957 when "That'll Be the Day" hit the airwaves until his tragic death less than two years later.

You'll be dancing in the aisles with fifties favorites such as "Peggy Sue, Oh Boy, Maybe Baby, That'll Be the Day", Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" and the Big Bopper's "Chantilly Lace."

Staring Todd Meredith as Buddy Holly. Todd has played Buddy all over the country as well as the ElDorado, Reno, NV and heads up a Buddy Holly Tribute band the Rave On's. Also starring Mike Brennan as the Big Bopper and Emilio Ramos as Ritchie Valens. Directed by Steve Steiner form the original Broadway company of Buddy.. this is one show you don't want to miss!
