OPERATION CHILLOUT to Host 'Thai Night for Homeless Veterans' at Viking Hall at Vasa Park

OPERATION CHILLOUT has announced Thai Night for Homeless Veterans, 2017, an inaugural fundraising event conceived and organized by Naulchavee DeStefano and destined to be annual fundraiser at beautiful Viking Hall at Vasa Park, 1 Vasa Dr., Hackettstown, New Jersey on Saturday, September 16th.

The event will help fund OPERATION CHILLOUT's Rapid Response Team, the homeless veterans outreach program to care of homeless veterans in New Jersey. The event is also focused on raising awareness of the plight of thousands of homeless veterans living in New Jersey.

In recent years homelessness among our military veterans continues to escalate. Their ranks have grown steadily and will continue to rise as our veterans return home from conflicts; fighting terrorism in the Middle East and around the world.

OPERATION CHILLOUT would like to thank the Thai Community for their incredible support for all veterans and our military...They know and understand the sacrifices these men and women have made for America and are doing something about it! So far they have raised over $4,000.00 in donations for Thai Night alone!

Thai Night for Homeless Vets, 2017 has a wide variety of Thai food prepared by renowned Atlanta chef, Pathomkon Mungin and Italian / American food and beverage options with a cash bar. Thai Heritage will be on full display as the renowned Thai Classical Dance School of Atlanta performs their wonderful traditional Thai dances.

A bargain at 25.00 per ticket, the event is selling out quickly with over 220 tickets sold in two weeks! Doors open at 6pm and the event runs till midnight. OPERATION CHILLOUT is an all-volunteer outreach dedicated to ending the crisis of homelessness for veterans, men and women throughout New Jersey and parts of NE Pennsylvania and now very recently in Rhode Island. We particularly seek out veterans of our military services, many of whom, because of the traumas they endured in service to our nation, face acute Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and chronic illnesses of body, mind and spirit, and are represented among the highest percentage of the homeless in the USA. Our Rapid Response Rescue Team is directly responsible for saving the lives of many of our homeless heroes. The mission of the Rapid Response Team is to search for, find, shelter, feed, clothe and transport homeless veterans to essential required services such as VA Medical Center Emergency, Specialty Clinic and Mental Health Care as needed at the time of rescue. We advocate with other partner agencies to get our veterans into more permanent housing, follow up medical and mental health care and a better life and future.
