NiCori Studios and Productions announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, August 28, at 3pm at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center in Bloomfield, NJ. Performers include Lauren Stanford, Sean Harkness and Marieann Meringolo. The Young Musician Moment will be Alex DiFilippo.

Lauren Stanford was the 2013 Metrostar Winner and named by Nitelife Exchange "one of the 25 people in cabaret to watch in 2015." Lauren discovered cabaret while developing a theatre piece about 1920's singer, Helen Morgan. Titled "More Than You Know," it has been performed at venues around NYC including Feinstein's/54 Below. Originally from Kansas City, Lauren has appeared in national tours and regional theatre, and is is a proud member of Actors' Equity. Lauren looks forward to taking part in The Mabel Mercer Foundation's annual Cabaret Convention at Rose Hall this October. See upcoming show dates at www.laurenstanford.com.

Each year Sean Harkness performs in concert halls around the country with other Windham Hill artists such as Liz Story, Will Ackerman, Barbara Higbie, Jim Brickman, Tuck & Patti, David Arkenstone, and Samite. Mr. Harkness is a first-call guitarist who compliments an exhaustive client list of artists, instrumentalists, Broadway productions, and corporations nationally and internationally. He is the go-to guitarist for duets and ensemble work with singers from Broadway and television such as Alison Fraser, Susan Egan and Carole Demas. Sean was featured at the Iridium Jazz Club on Broadway in Times Square with Terese Genecco and her Little Big Band in her monthly series.

Sean has appeared as an artist and sideman extensively in New York's finest jazz venues including the Blue Note, Smoke, Small's, the Jazz Standard, Birdland, Iridium, Feinstein's, Edison Ballroom, Mile's Café, the Metropolitan Room, St. Nick's, and Top Of The Rock at Rockefeller Center. Mr. Harkness also appears regularly in any of New York's folk and rock singer/songwriter clubs such as the Cutting Room, Joe's Pub, Bitter End, Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, the Living Room, Bowery Poetry Club, P&G, and Shrine. Sean was the guitarist in Contemporary Jewish icon Debbie Friedman's band until her untimely passing in 2011. He continues to perform regularly with Craig Taubman and Josh Nelson in major congregations nationally. Marieann thrills her audiences wherever she performs...Including these New York City venues: Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Joe's Pub...at The Public Theater, Iridium, Metropolitan Room, The Friars Club, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Rainbow Room, The Hammerstein Ballroom and Tavern On The Green. She has toured with comedian David Brenner, has headlined at the new State-of-the-Art Steinman Hall concert performance space at The Ware Center, Lancaster, PA and can also be found performing on other Concert Stages around the country, or internationally as a Headliner on prestigious cruise lines such as Oceania, Regent Seven Seas and Princess. "Music at the Mansion" is a 2012 MAC award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series was created in 2011 by NiCori Studio's Founding Artistic Director, Corinna Sowers Adler. Corinna, a NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident hosts the series. "Music at the Mansion" will feature Deborah Martin on piano. Corinna has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards. Sowers Adler was a featured soloist at the 24th and 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center and made her solo debut in The Appel Room in December of 2015. She will be a featured soloist on the 27th Annual Cabaret Convention this October at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall. Corinna was recently nominated for the 2015 Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award. She has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart, Let Me Sing and I'm Happy, and High Standards at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Tickets for "Music at the Mansion" are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
