Join Don Braden, Antoinette Montague, Steve Turre, Cassandra Wilson, Brandee Younger and more jazz greats for this musical celebration of Dorthaan Kirk, "Newark's First Lady of Jazz."

Acclaimed saxophonist Don Braden will act as music director for the evening, dedicated to the life and work of jazz champion and WBGO-FM 88.3 co-founder Dorthaan Kirk.

This one-night-only concert will bring together some of the brightest stars of contemporary jazz: GRAMMY-nominated pianist and singer Freddy Cole; vibist Stefon Harris, a four-time GRAMMY nominee; celebrated Newark jazz and blues vocalist Antoinette Montague; trombonist, composer and seashellist Steve Turre; two-time GRAMMY-winning song stylist Cassandra Wilson, and harpist Brandee Younger.
