NJSDA to Present AMERICAN IDIOT

The high-octane show includes every song from Green Day's album American Idiot, as well as several songs from follow-up release, 21st Century Breakdown. American Idiot, features little dialogue and instead relies on the lyrics from Green Day's groundbreaking album to execute the story line.
The musical will feature the directing team from the recent NYC's 20th anniversary production of RENT at Harbor Lights Theatre, Alex Perez and Charles Santoro. Alex will Direct and Choreograph and Charles will Musical Direct respectively. "It's imperative that we take time to really explore this great script and score with our company of talented young artists that reflect upon many current events we face on a daily basis" says Perez.
