New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with Garrison Keillor, the award-winning theatrical storyteller and host of public radio's A Prairie Home Companion, shares his homespun humor with NJPAC audiences. The Grammy winner from Minnesota counts more than 17 million listeners among his fans and has performed in concert halls and with orchestras throughout the country (with Philip Brunelle) as a member of The Hopeful Gospel Quartet and on tour broadcasts of A Prairie Home Companion. Keillor's most recent role included playing himself in the 2006 movie adaptation of A Prairie Home Companion, featuring Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin and Tommy Lee Jones.

Among his numerous honors are two Cable ACE awards, a George Foster Peabody Award and the National Humanities Medal of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
