New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening of hysterical stand-up comedy with busy Iranian-American writer-performer Maz Jobrani, known for his Immigrant special on Netflix, and for his role as Fawz on the CBS sitcom, Superior Donuts.

Prior to Immigrant (which was filmed live at the Kennedy Center), Maz Jobrani starred in three popular solo specials for Showtime: Brown and Friendly, I Come in Peace, and I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One on TV. Jobrani has also performed at the White House, as a founding member of The Axis of Evil Comedy Tour (which aired on Comedy Central), and as the title character in the award-winning independent feature, Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, a comedy he also co-wrote and co-produced.

Jobrani's other film credits include Disney's Descendants, Dragonfly, The Interpreter, andFriday After Next. In addition to his work on television and the big screen, he is a regular panelist on NPR's Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!, and the author of the Los Angeles Times best-seller, I'm Not a Terrorist, But I've Played One on TV.

Tickets to see Maz Jobrani will be available Friday, July 20th at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722) or by visiting the NJPAC Box Office.
