Music at the Mansion Features Multi Award Winning Recording Artist, Sterns Mathews
NiCori Studios and Productions in association with the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, Music at the Mansion, on Sunday, November 29, at 3pm. Performers include Randie Levine-Miller, Frank Dain and Stearns Matthews. The Young Musician Moment will be Gas Lamp Teen Project Avenue Q School Edition.

Randie Levine-Miller is singing again, after a 30 year career in public relations! She recently sang, as well as hosted, at the Metropolitan Room's Longest Running Variety Show Ever, now included in the Guiness Book of World Records. Randie is known around town as a modern day "hostess with the mostess." She has performed in and hosted benefits for the Actors Fund, the Actors Temple, Multiple Sclerosis, and Prostate Cancer Research. Randie's performance venues have included: Feinstein's, 54 Below, Metropolitan Room, the Friars Club and Stage 72/Triad. She's performed her 1-woman show at the Actors Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey. Most recently, she produced, hosted and sang in "Tomatoes Got Talent", a talent competition for women past 40. Randie produced over 80 star-studded events at the Friars Club, including tributes to: Charles Strouse, Marvin Hamlisch, Ervin Drake, Marty Richards, Tovah Feldshuh, Jim Dale, Len Cariou, Tony Roberts and Lee Roy Reams, where she was named Friar of the Year. in 2007. Her "Showstopper Divos and Divas - A Swell Party!" evenings, in support of the Actors Fund,spotlight the best of Broadway and cabaret. Ms. Levine-Miller is also Special Events Director for the Drama Desk.

Vocalist Frank Dain received a 2013 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) nomination for Male Vocalist for his Magic of Mathis show. He has appeared at the Metropolitan Room, Don't Tell Mama, Steve McGraw's, Danny's Skylight Room, Judy's and the Laurie Beechman Theatre. He made his New York City Town Hall debut at The Mabel Mercer Foundation's summer Cabaret Convention entitled Grand Nights for Singing and was part of the cast for the Foundation's first cabaret convention in Philadelphia. He was a frequent guest of pianist/singer Kathleen Landis at Café Pierre. Kathleen invited him to appear with her at the Cocktail Terrace in the Waldorf Astoria as part of a Cole Porter birthday celebration hosted by Daryl Sherman. He was also Kathleen's guest vocalist at the Sheet Music Society's event celebrating the release of the book, The Complete Lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein, II, written by Amy Asch, with a special appearance by Hammerstein's daughter, Alice Hammerstein Mathias. He has also appeared as a guest singer for a number of cabaret performers in New York, appeared at numerous benefits and has been featured on Jersey's Talking, hosted by Lee Leonard, and performed live on Jim Lowe's radio program. Frank's debut CD, I Thought About You, received praise from critics across the country.


Frank played Lucky in an Off-Broadway production of Dames At Sea. He has taken part in various readings and recordings of new musicals and songs by new composers. He has been a graphic designer since 1999, providing designs for CD packages, logos, postcards, posters, ads, programs, business cards and web sites for many in the cabaret community. He has also provided design work for a number of Off-Broadway productions. Since the fall of 2003, Frank has been the Editor-in-Chief of Cabaret Scenes, a magazine dedicated to the art of cabaret. He was named "Best Editor-in-Chief" of a Cabaret Publication by the Federation of American Musicians, Singers and Performing Artists in their just published Who's Who in Jazz, Cabaret, Music and Entertainment. www.frankdain.com


Stearns Matthews is a double 2015 MAC Award winner for Best Male Vocalist and Best Recording for his debut album, SPARK (a collaboration with musical director/arranger Christopher Denny and producer Paul Rolnick). The album also won the 2015 Bistro Award for Outstanding Recording. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. He has appeared multiple times in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's annual Cabaret Convention in New York City. Stearns also serves on the Board of Directors of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC). More info at www.stearnsmatthews.com.


"Music at the Mansion" is a 2012 MAC award nominated series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and will feature Deborah Martin on piano. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards. Sowers-Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center this past October. She recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award. Corinna has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart, Let Me Sing and I'm Happy, and High Standards at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Tickets for "Music at the Mansion" are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
