Get ready to tap you toes! The Morris Museum has announced that Forever Plaid by Stuart Ross will be performed at the Bickford Theatre from May 1 through May 25, 2014.
Join us for an affectionate homage to the delightful harmonies and well choreographed moves of the 1950's. Forever Plaid is a hilarious musical centered on a quartet of young singers killed in a car crash on their way to see the Beatle's American debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. The boys, Jinx, Sparky, Francis and Smudge, return to earth to fulfill their dream to perform in their own big concert. The play showcases the hits you know and love including Three Coins in a Fountain, Moments to Remember, Perfidia, Shangrila, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing.
Written and originally directed and choreographed by Stuart Ross, the Morristown presentation is directed by Eric Hafen, Artistic Director of the Bickford Theatre. Forever Plaid is "entertaining, funny, moving with great songs" Hafen noted. "Perfect for every member of the family."
