Eric Walton: Mentalist is a fascinating theatrical foray into the realms of parapsychology, metaphysics, and anomalous cognition, led by the critically-acclaimed mentalist, showman, and raconteur, Eric Walton ("The sharpest knife in the drawer!" - Gothamist.com). In this compelling and highly interactive 75-minute piece, audiences witness and participate in mystifying demonstrations of mind-reading and other feats of extra-sensory perception by a true master of the art of mentalism. Your thoughts are not your own in the presence of Eric Walton: Mentalist.
Eric Walton has been a dedicated student of the conjuring arts since 1999 and has performed magic and mentalism throughout the United States and the U.K. His first one-man show, Esoterica, enjoyed a six-month Off-Broadway run in New York City; was a sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; and was a Times of London Critic's Pick, which called the show "a master class in mentalism."
The show is directed by Nicholas A. Cotz whose rogerandtom at HERE in New York City was a New York Times Critic's Pick. Eric Walton: Mentalist is produced by Mile Square Theatre's Joseph Gallo (It's a Wonderful Life, The Magic Hour, Frog & Toad, Seventh Inning Stretch).
Mile Square Theatre is located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken, and is accessible by car, PATH, New Jersey Transit Trains, NY Waterway Ferry, and New York City bus via the Port Authority (eight minutes door-to-door!). Directions are available at: www.milesquaretheatre.org/visit/
