A whimsical take on a time-honored fairytale comes to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre when Stars in the Park presents the Prince Street Players' comic musical version of CINDERELLA. Dates and show times are Fridays, July 30 and August 6 at 7 p.m.; Saturdays, July 31 and August 7 at 7 p.m.; and Sundays, August 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on July 30.

In an adaptation filled with originality and charm, dreams really do come true as Cinderella heads off to the ball and into the arms of a handsome prince – with a little help from her zany Fairy Godmother, of course! This rags-to-happiness tale includes interactive moments with the audience including a sing-along to the "Sneeze Polka," an invitation to perform a courtly dance during intermission, and a chance to try on the lovely glass slipper.

The principal cast features Chelsea Wargo of Ewing as Cinderella; Matt Muccigrossi of Montgomery as Prince Charming; Kitty Getik of Hamilton as the Stepmother; Kristin Heiser of Trenton as stepsister Henrietta; Mackenzi Flannery of Burlington as stepsister Gertrude; Marc Flicker III as King Darling; and Diane Wargo of Ewing as Fairy Godmother.

Appearing as Ladies and Gentlemen of the Court are: Candace Chmielewski of Lawrence, David Walter of Asbury, Arielle Rabano of Hillsborough, Evan Vincent of Burlington, Madison Glassman of Burlington, Chris Schladebeck of Cream Ridge, Alexa Lupinacci of Hamilton, Andrew Millin of Perrineville and Sarah Williams of Allentown.

Featured in the Children's Chorus and as Godmother's Helpers are: Marissa Marciano of West Windsor, Jason Wilks of Princeton, Megan Sherow of Allentown, John James of Cream Ridge, Anna Kralik of Trenton and Jana Graham of Jackson. Jacqui Sopko of Hamilton and Stepfanie McCaffrey of Philadelphia are the Slipper Tap Girls.

CINDERELLA is directed by Diane Wargo, with Pat Masterson of Lambertville as music director and Jacqui Sopko as choreographer. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $12 for students and children. To order tickets online, visit www.kelseytheatre.net or call the Box Office at 609-570-3333. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible; free parking is available next to the theater.
