Master Illusionist Lyn Dillies To Appear At The Bickford Theatre, 2/25 ImageAward-winning illusionist Lyn Dillies will perform her extraordinary show the "Magic of Lyn" at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum on Sunday, February 25 at 3:00PM. This spectacular, popular show will entertain the whole family.

Lyn's illusions have been astounding audiences for more than two decades and have earned her the respect of magicians around the world. In 2013 she became the first female illusionist in history to receive the prestigious Milbourne Christopher Award - the Academy Award of magic - from the Society of American Magicians (past recipients have included David Copperfield, Penn and Teller and Siegfried and Roy). She has also received the Merlin Award from the International Magician's Society and has been recognized with a Parents' Choice Award and a Dove Foundation Award. Lyn may occasionally be seen on television and she has shared the stage with a variety of celebrities including Marvin Hamlisch, Jeff Dunham, Bill Engval and Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Beyond her enthralling live performances, Lyn Dillies produced an award-winning "Learn Magic with Lyn" DVD, which empowers children to perform their own magic; created Your Vote is Magic!, a public service campaign to promote voter awareness; and now has a "Magic at the Symphony" program, which sets some of the most breathtaking illusions in magic against the beauty and drama of symphonic classics. It has become a very popular way to introduce classical music to young people.
