St. Joseph Regional High School ( located in Montvale NJ, one mile from the NY boarder) in conjunction with Leftfield Productions of Nyack, NY, will present its annual Night of Broadway Stars this weekend November 27th & 28th.

The first half of the evening will be a selection of songs from the Broadway-bound new musical, GRUMPY OLD MEN. Based on the 1993 film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, GRUMPY OLD MEN: the Musical tells the story of two aging men, John and Max, neighbors who have been feuding for most of their lives.

They are re-united in friendship through the love and compassion of their new neighbor across the street, the beautiful, eccentric, and charming Ariel. Guest Broadway performers include Rita Harvey (The Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof), Kevin Pariseau (Legally Blonde), Luba Mason (Chicago, Jekyll and Hyde), Vicki Van Tassel (Mamma Mia!), Joel Higgins (City of Angels, Oklahoma!, and TV's "Silver Spoons") and Academy Award-winning actor, F. Murray Abraham ("Amadeus"). The show's music is written by Neil Berg (off-Broadway's The Prince and the Pauper), lyrics by Nick Meglin, book by Dan Remmes, musical direction by Chris Haberl, and direction by DJ Salisbury.
The second half of the evening will feature a cabaret style entertainment of Broadway's biggest hits sung by some of Broadway's brightest talent.

Performances are Saturday, November 27th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 28th at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $50 each, and all seats are reserved. To reserve your tickets for this event, please call 201-391-3300 during school hours, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, or Leftfield Productions at 845-353-2407 after school hours, or email tkts@sjrtheater.com.
