Tony Clifton's name may not be well known outside the world of comedy, yet he's worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment. He's shared the stage or screen with David Letterman, Rodney Dangerfield, Jim Carrey, Merv Griffin and Andy Kaufman.

Clifton will bring his musical, comical and at times, odd performance, to the Atlantic City Hilton, October 23, 2010.

Clifton's comedic talents include audience insults, bad jokes, nasal singing voice, signature sunglasses and burlesque dancers.

It was legendary comedian Andy Kaufman who discovered Clifton in 1969 and immediately signed him to open his shows on several occasions. That led Clifton to a string of TV appearances. After Kaufman's death, Clifton virtually disappeared.

In 2000, he reemerged to play himself in Milos Forman's "Man on the Moon" starring Jim Carrey.

After a brief appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show in 2004, and a one night, sold out performance in Los Angeles, Clifton disappeared again for years. Now he's back and appearing at the Atlantic City Hilton.

Tickets to Clifton's 8pm performance are available through Ticketmaster.
